What is Threading ?
The threading specialist takes a piece of 100% cotton thread, twirls it around the fingers and is able to remove the targeted hair from the root. Eyebrows can be shaped to absolute perfection, and face perfectly de-fuzzed, leaving you hairless and happy!
How long does threading last?
Threading can last anywhere from 3-4 weeks depending on your personal hair growth. Since threading removes the hair from the root, it lasts longer than other forms of hair removal such as tweezing or shaving.
What does it feel like ?
Threading is comparable to tweezing. You mayfeel like a pinching or light scraping sensation.
Is it okay to get threaded if have sensitive skin?
Yes, however depending on your sensitivity level, you may experience redness or minor bumps at site, but it should subside in 15-20 minutes. We usually do not recommend applying aloe or lotion after threading. Washing the face with cold water helps. If you develop a rash that does not subside, call your dermatologist.
Can I specify how I want my brows shaped?
Yes! Before you begin, always consult with your esthetician and let them know how you want your brows shaped and how thick or thin you’d like them.
Will my hair grow back thicker or darker after threading?
No, your hair will never grow in thicker or darker after threading. Since threading removes the hair from the root, your hair will become finer over time.
Does threading have any side effects?
No, since threading is 100% natural, there are little to no side effects. Those with ultra sensitive skin may experience redness. Those who are trying threading for the first time may experience minimal irritation. In this case, we recommend using a cold compress on the affected area, followed by a dab of hydrocortisone.
Can men get their eyebrows done?
